A Thrift Store Find–Artificial Ficus Tree

A Thrift Store Find

I am getting close to completing my master bedroom remodel.  I am in the process of adding the last few details such as finding a large artificial tree to place between two pieces of furniture.  I was finding some beautiful trees, but was not willing to spend the $40.00 and up.  During a weekly trip to one of our favorite thrift stores, I found the perfect Ficus tree.   It sits in a large wicker basket filled with greenery, and has a triple trunk.  I brought it home and wrapped it with tiny white lights and hung small red crystals near the lights for a sparkle effect. It is one of the WOW pieces in my newly decorated bedroom for only $14.95.

Challenge yourself to find what you need or want at your local thrift store at a great savings.
