I’m baaack! I took a little time off to enjoy my visiting parents for Thanksgiving while Carol was gracious enough to cover my fanny. Thank you Carol!!
I have been sharing a lot over the last few weeks about the ongoing process of redecorating my new office space (my son’s old bedroom) while trying to save money. I hesitate to call my project “complete” because I am in a constant state of changing, revamping and adding new thrift store finds. So I will call it complete for now.

After successfully staging my home, I’m helping my friend stage her house for selling. So far, we have spent very little money by reusing pretty items that she already had or by making decorations with supplies from the local thrift store. You can do this easy project yourself with great finds from the thrift store or around the house.

Last week I recovered an old office chair for my new office. This week is all about new frames for my new office. It is easy to find inexpensive frames, but my goal was to personalize ones that I already have. No more boring frames, I want something that says ME! My office space would not be complete without my cherished photos of family and friends. Yes I have pictures, my treasures, everywhere in our home, but in my office I can “girl” it up.

Last week I painted my accent wall and put up a shelving unit over my desk. Today it is all about my “new” office chair, thanks to the generosity of Carol and her husband. The chair found a new home with me and while it was perfect in every way, it didn’t suit my color theme—easily fixed.

Last week I began sharing with you the progress on my new home office. Honestly, when I began this “little” project I never anticipated it taking on a life all its own. Remember, I have the desktop in with the two credenzas at either end. I have room for a small television at one end and my stereo at the other end. OK, I have a twelve foot workspace and I am quickly running out of space?! I will get to that later.
