I work in a typical corporate office cube…three walls of fabric covered who-knows-what. To liven up my space where most of my day’s hours are spent, I like to keep greenery around. For little effort or money, you can create a Monet inspired indoor pond to keep on your desk or at home. They’re also perfect for a beautiful lily pond centerpiece.

In my article “Eliminating Bugs In And Around Your Home”, I talked about bugs we DON’T want around and how to get rid of them. However, there are a few that we DO want around and the Ladybug is one of them. Ladybugs are actually small beetles, and they have a huge appetite for aphids, spider mites and other small insects that feast on our delicate plants. I was taught at a young age how special they are, and we welcomed them in our garden–they are said to bring us luck.

The World Wide Web (www) was created in 1989 by CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) physicist Tim Berners-Lee. In 1993 CERN announced that the World Wide Web would be free to use for anyone. In February 2009, Netcraft, an internet monitoring company that has tracked Web growth since 1995, reported that there were 215,675,903 websites with domain names and content on them in 2009, compared to just 18,000 websites in August 1995.

We all know how healthy blueberries are for us. Blueberries are relatively easy to grow. They can even be grown in containers for those who are short on garden space.
