May Craft Project—Flip-Flops

Decorate Your Own Flip-Flops

It’s flip-flop season—we wear them with our shorts, bathing suits and even with our little black dresses.  If you have shopped around for flip-flops, you may have seen some costing as much as $50.00. Who needs to spend that kind of money?   Create exactly what you are looking for with very little money.

You will find plain, very inexpensive flip-flops at your local Michael’s or Hobby Lobby in every color and size, with thin soles or thick soles.  Pick up your favorite color and create your own look.  Add a beautiful silk flower to the strap.  Or, adorn the straps with crystals, beads, ribbon or charms, the ideas are endless.  Get some great ideas while shopping then go home and create your own.  For what you will spend, you could have different flip-flops for every outfit.
