TasteSpotting.com: Explore a New Website

The World Wide Web (www) was created in 1989 by CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) physicist Tim Berners-Lee. In 1993 CERN announced that the World Wide Web would be free to use for anyone. In February 2009, Netcraft, an internet monitoring company that has tracked Web growth since 1995, reported that there were 215,675,903 websites with domain names and content on them in 2009, compared to just 18,000 websites in August 1995.
With millions of websites on the World Wide Web, there is not enough time to explore them all. We have access to websites that can educate us, make us laugh, and inspire us. Each month I will share some of my favorites with you.
My pick for May is TasteSpotting.com. I love the way this website is laid out with stunning photo collections of different dishes with step by step instructions. TasteSpotting.com boasts of a “visual potluck of recipes, references, experiences, stories, articles, products and anything else that inspires exquisite taste.” This website reviews submissions from the community, so don’t rule out submitting one of your unique recipes.
Explore and enjoy!
