A Front Door Wreath Made Simple

Share the joy

Carol has been bugging me to get rid of my fall/winter wreath that hangs outside my front door.  First I get a gentle reminder that it needs to come down and then with her next visit I hear, “it’s still up”?  I know, it needs to be replaced with something that reflects Spring.

I have my grapevine wreath that I purchased last fall at Hobby Lobby for only $2.99, but no flowers.  A quick trip to Michael’s was fruitful (or flowerful) at only 99 cents per bunch.  I went home and put together this simple but beautiful wreath in less than 30 minutes at a cost of only $6.00 and change!

Wouldn’t you know, the day after I put it up, we received a good inch of snow!   Oh well,  Spring is now at my front door and I know one person that will be very happy.  See Carol, I listen—sometimes!

  1. I simply love your wreath! You inspire all of us, and show us that any one can make something beautiful while sticking to their budget.

Now I’ll stop bugging you! 😉
