Decoupage Paper

This easy craft project is useful and a beautiful addition to hold your photos and such on your refrigerator. You will need the following:

  • Clear glass half-marbles
  • ¼ inch round magnets
  • Decoupage paper
  • Decoupage medium matte
  • Decoupage medium gloss
  • 1 inch flat paint brush
  • 1 small sponge brush
  • X-Acto knife

Cut the decoupage paper into 2” x 2” pieces.  Use the flat brush to apply the decoupage medium matte to the flat side of the marble and place it onto the 2” x 2” paper.  Remember that you want the pretty side to show through the marble.  Adjust and smooth out the paper, then let dry.

Use your X-Acto knife to trim off the excess paper.  Use your small sponge brush to add a thin coat of the decoupage medium gloss.  Wait for the gloss dry, then glue a magnet to the back.

Add a few to a small tin for a unique, but useful gift.
