Louisiana Grilled Shrimp

Louisiana Grilled Shrimp is the perfect recipe for lazy summer nights when you want a quick meal with little bother. This recipe will bite back, but well worth it. You can adjust the peppers to your taste. Try it on the grill this summer.
Louisiana Grilled Shrimp
- 2-3 lbs large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 ¼ stick butter
- 2-3 cloves of finely chopped garlic
- 1 ½ tsp. crushed hot red peppers
- 1 cup tomato sauce or ketchup
- ¼ cup light brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon or lime juice
Sauté the garlic in the butter; add the remaining ingredients and let simmer. Place the shrimp into a large bowl and pour the ingredients over the shrimp. Grill for approximately 5-7 minutes.
Serve it over a bed of seasoned rice.
