<p>Marbleize means to make something look like marble. Here is a fun project to create beautiful one-of-a-kind paper designs  for making your own greeting cards.  Because this process is easy, the entire family can get involved.   You will need the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>140 lb. watercolor paper</li>
<li>Colored chalk sticks</li>
<li>Large cake pan (large enough to hold the size of paper you choose)</li>
<li>Wax paper</li>
</ul>
<p>Fill your clean cake pan with warm water.  Using a knife or potato peeler, shave off pieces of the chalk into the water.  Don’t be afraid of using many colors.  Lay a piece of your watercolor paper onto the surface of the water which will attract the color.  You can also dip the entire piece of paper for a special effect on both sides.  Remove the paper and place it onto the wax paper to dry.  Don’t limit yourself to just greeting cards—use your imagination:</p>
<ul>
<li>Scrapbooking</li>
<li>Matting for photos</li>
<li>Place mats</li>
<li>Art</li>
</ul>
