My husband and I are trying to eat more vegetarian meals and what better and easier way to serve them than to stir-fry vegetables in a wok. It’s fast, low calorie, and keeps the nutrients inherent in the fresh veggies. But the dishes can easily come out all tasting the same if you don’t flavor them with different sauces. I enjoy Super Bowl Sunday. This year, the NFL awarded the 2010 Super Bowl — Super Bowl XLIV — to Miami and the championship game will be played February 7, 2010 at Dolphin Stadium. My husband and sons usually watch, while I play bar wench, bringing in food and drinks. Well, not quite, but I do enjoy making simple appetizers that please the guys in my life. I only watch the game for the commercials.
This year, I’ll make Sweet & Spicy Meatballs. It’s a tried and true recipe that’s been around for a long time. And the best part, it’s so easy. Make them in a crock pot and it couldn’t be simpler.
