Well, this year I challenged myself to become better organized when shopping at the thrift store, and I am on my way! I have been looking for a cross-body bag to carry with me (hands-free) on my thrift store adventures that will help me organize everything I will need to get the job done right!
My first stop was the thrift store, but ended up finding that perfect bag at our local TJ Maxx! Yes, it was a GREAT deal–a Baggallini bag that goes for $84.95 on its best day. But this one was marked down “as is” for only $12.99. Not seeing anything wrong with the bag and it is perfect for what I need! Still can’t believe my luck!!
Bag–check!! Now I have to fill it with all the essentials. Here is a list of the items I tucked inside my new bag:
- tiny wallet for money, credit card, and license
- tiny calculator
- pen/notepad
- antibacterial wipes/lotion/kleenex
- measuring tape
- camera/phone
- small photo album to store information
LOVE the idea of the small photo album (cost $1) to hold paint color samples, color swatches, wish lists, measurements, etc. I can’t wait to try out my new and organized bag on my next shopping trip!! I Will let you know what worked, what didn’t, and anything I might have forgotten! Stay tuned!
